Part III
As you all can see I do not get out of the house much. I am now taking pics of my roses. They were perfect for the exercise though. The one where the background is not in focus I took at an f-stop of 5.6 with the shutter speed at 1/125 and the other shot is f-stop of 22 and shutter speed is the same.

Part II
For this part I tried changing the ISO and the f-stop to see the effects. I think I would have gotten a better shot if I would have changed the shutter speed to lighten it up as well. I guess the question from me is "what ISO settings are better for the night shots versus day shots?". Does it really have much effect? These pictures were taken behind my house after one of the rare rainy days in Arizona. Any feedback here would be great. I also included some pictures trying to evaluate the difference in shots of water when changing the shutter speed and the aperture (again here....does the ISO matter). These pics were taken outside of my house. Thanks for the feedback all.
Part I
Here are the photos I took for part one. I did not get very creative here. I just took my family down to a near by park and then shot a bunch of pictures changing the shutter speed each time. Simple exercise but it tought me a lot about shooting in low light.
